Our front three don't know who starts the press

We're playing 11v11 with a front three. The striker often goes to a centre-back, but both wide players wait because they aren't sure whether to jump to the full-backs or stay narrow. By the time they decide, the opposition are already out. What first cue would you give the front three so the press starts together rather than as one player chasing?
