Late evening training – would you coach differently?

ours train 7.30-8.30 because thats only pitch slot. by last 15 min concentration drops. should we plan the hardest learning early and finish simple, or does changing session around the clock just create another excuse for poor focus?

Why don't we show coach names?
I would absolutely think about the time of day. If you know concentration normally drops late, put the learning that needs the most explanation or attention earlier. Finish with something simple, competitive and game-based where the players can use what they have worked on. That is not an excuse for poor behaviour. It is sensible planning. At 7.30pm, some children will have had a long day at school, travel and food at different times. The coach cannot control all of that. What you can control is how much standing and listening you ask for at 8.20pm. Plan the session around the people and the environment, not an ideal version of when training “should” happen.
